Pink for October

Every year, I try and help Matthew Oliphant bring awareness to breast cancer by adding a bit of pink to my site during the entire Month of October.

Although one site alone isn’t enough to make a difference, the strength here is in the number of participants.  Join now, make a few small changes, and help change the lives of many by spreading the word, and/or donating to your local charities.

The color brings awareness, and awareness brings support and desire for change.  With this, we can all make a small impact on this very big issue.

Rocking the pink I see? Nice work. I like the artistic pink backgrounds in the title, footer and other pink blocks. Very classy, yet pretty.

Yeah, I just called your site “pretty.”

@Patrick:  “Pretty” is good, thanks.  It’s what I was going for.  I also intentionally avoided any use of the standard ribbon, to see if I could preserve the theme and emotion of the cause without its presence.

@Matthew: Anytime, buddy.

Yes indeed, very pretty. You know, I’m finding that a lot of sites look good in pink. It’s a very interesting color. Like, it catches my eye. Looking good.
