Photoshop vs Fireworks

Digital-Web Magazine has just posted a great article that I was happy to help out with (along with eight other fantastic designers) titled “Photoshop vs Fireworks”.  The subject is just that, too.  Though four primary sections, each of us get a chance to have our say and opinion on which graphics tool we prefer.

The eight of us were divided equally, four on four. Myself, Jared Christensen, Jenna Marino, and Travis Isaacs on the side of Photoshop. While Chuck Mallott, Hugh Griffith, Pete Lambert, and Patrick Haney cover the side of Fireworks. The whole thing was professionally edited together by the much-talented Nathan Smith.

Speaking of Fireworks:  if you go there looking for some (har-har), you might be disappointed.  All in all, the conversation turned out a bit more civilized than I thought it would.  Usually when you discuss all things related to PS or FW, people get a little bent out of shape.  So, no threats to anyone’s Mom, unfortunately. ;)
