One tweak at a time
This was never really meant to become a “live redesign”, but it seems that some things are just inevitable, taking on a life of their own. With the aftermath of the big database mistake of 2007, it’s nice to take things one step at a time, with the greater design goal in mind.
I now see with some level of confidence and security (you’ll have to keep coming back if you want to see what updates I continue to add every so often) what my goal is; where I’m going with this site, and what I expect to accomplish. Taking these little steps will only get me closer.
I do however, need to work around all of the other various things coming up in my life. First and foremost, the time that I will spend with my daughter (the next few weeks especially).
Here’s the good news: The Artcast is coming back, better than ever! My files are just fine (they always were, as it was only the entries that got killed), and I have all the descriptions and information needed to re-create the articles and RSS feeds. It just might not happen overnight. Like I said, one step at a time.

Hope the rebuilding is going well! Awaiting anxiously.
For any fans of Anton’s Artcast who have not discovered the video tutorials of Bert Monroy, check out http://revision3.com/pixelperfect. I discovered this after hearing Anton mention it, and it is a tremendous resource as far as video/photoshop tutorials go.
