Join the Podcast in 2011

There’s a new year right around the corner, and I would like to celebrate it by publishing a brand new episode of the dandicast. For those who weren’t aware, I was diagnosed with some bronchitis and laryngitis problems that followed a minor viral infection, which made it very difficult for me to talk. So, the show was put on hold for a little bit.

But I’m back! And I would like you to join me in creating a unique new episode celebrating the upcoming year and all the great things we want to accomplish during 2011!

Here’s what you can do to get involved...

Use whatever audio software you have on your computer (and a decent mic or headset), and record the following message as an audio file (swapping out the proper bits with your own details, of course):

“Hello dandicast, this is [YOUR NAME] from [YOUR LOCATION], and I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!”

Feel free to ad-lib and say whatever you like (but please keep the profanity to a minimum). I want this to be a fun experiment to spread good cheer and get 2011 started in a very friendly way.

Once you have an audio file, email either a link or an attachment to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

If you are unable to create an audio recording yourself, you are welcome to call (with any phone) 1 (309) 822-4089 and leave a message for me. I can then grab your voicemail as a file that can be inserted into my podcast. Long-distance rates will likely apply.
