2010 Goals
Resolutions! A word that conveys a sense of newness, each time we reach the end of December. A word that implies that we will resolve something in our lives that needs some kind of attention. A word that I don't really want to use this time around.
I decided to write up some goals instead. A few random things that might not mean anything to you, but at least allow me to declare where I would like to be in 2010.
Ready? Let's go! Please note, these are in no particular order.
- Really need to lose some weight. A lot of weight.
- Can (and will) publish a book of illustration and/or a graphic novel (stemmed from some old ideas).
- Dust off and re-string the guitars. Music is a good hobby to have, and I've let mine laps a little too much.
- Take time to visit good friends, even those out of town (thinking of my buddy Keith in Chicago).
- Continue appreciating my family every day that I live (not that I need reminding, but it's something I'm very proud of).
- To rekindle the video art tutorials. This is already in the works, and I know a few people that miss the old Artcast.
- To contribute 1 new artwork or blog post per week, per Project52.
- Attend at least 1 conference or event in 2010.
- To donate more to charity.
Granted, this is a short list. But it covers some things that are very important to me. What sort of goals do you have?
